At a glance
- Your files stay with you. The method is just markdown files that live where you put them.
- No training on your content. We don't use your data to train or fine-tune models.
- No tracking cookies. We use cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics (see Processors).
- Delete on request. Email info@threadbaire.com and we'll delete the records we control (e.g., form submissions).
Details below.
Threadbaire is an open method. This privacy policy covers the website and contact forms—not the method itself, which lives in your own files.
What we keep (and why)
- Contact forms: your email (and whatever you write) so we can reply.
- Basic server/analytics logs: page paths, user agent, referrer, and counts—no ad tracking, no cross-site profiling.
We don't store your project files. The method runs in your own environment.
Processors
- Vercel — website hosting and static asset delivery (standard server logs for operations).
- Formspree — handles contact form submissions (only the form fields you send).
- Cronitor RUM — runtime performance analytics (page URL/path, timings, user agent). No ad tracking.
- GoatCounter — cookieless pageview analytics (page URL, referrer, counts). No ad tracking.
We don't sell data or share it with advertisers.
Security
- Transport: HTTPS/TLS for data in transit.
- Least privilege: access to operational tools is limited to what's necessary.
- Storage: we keep only the minimal records noted above; providers store logs/forms.
- Breach handling: if we learn of unauthorized access to records we control, we'll notify affected contacts and, where required, authorities.
Retention
- Contact forms: kept until we reply or you ask us to delete.
- Server/analytics logs: kept briefly for operations and usage understanding.
